A fictional shop. Useful objects, sample orders.

ABOUT YOUR DEMO SESSION

A short privacy note.

Saved in this demo.

A local server database stores a hash of your random session token, your cart, synthetic orders, sample stock reservations, payment references and processed event identifiers. The browser stores a session cookie and a request-protection cookie. No browser account or password is created.

Kept for up to 24 hours.

Your session expires 24 hours after it starts. Expired records cannot be accessed. A bounded cleanup runs on server startup and requests; expired records are removed in batches of up to 100. You can immediately delete your own session data with End demo session / Clear my demo on the account page.

Sample information only.

The fictional persona is Alex Sample, alex@example.com, with a fixed UK sample destination. The demo does not collect a real delivery address, telephone number, notes, uploads or card details. There are no analytics, marketing forms or advertising cookies.

Payment provider.

When Stripe test checkout is available and you select it, synthetic product names, amounts, an order reference and the sample email are sent to Stripe’s sandbox. Test-card entry takes place on Stripe’s hosted page. Use only sample details there. Stripe’s own test records are outside this demo’s local deletion process.

The offline simulator sends no information to a payment provider. It changes only your session’s server-side sample order state.

Clearing access.

Ending the session deletes its local records and cookies. Old order links then stop working. Keep no real personal information in this demonstration.
